There are two ways of obtaining a visa for Cambodia:
- Visa upon arrival (available at all international entry points, but recommended only for arrivals by air)
- Visa from the Cambodian Embassy (recommended for all overland border crossings)

Visa Upon Arrival

Place of Arrival:
- Phnom Penh International Airport
- Siem Reap International Airport
- Veung Kham*
- Bavet*
- Khorm Samnor*
- O'smach*
- Poipet*
- Koh Kong*
*When travelling overland, we recommend obtaining visas in advance from the Cambodian Embassy, since visa conditions can be subject to change at these border crossings.

Visa Fee:
- USD 20 per Visa (Tourist Visa)
- Processing Time: Approximately 10 - 20 minutes
- Requirements: Visa application form (to be obtained at the airport)
- One passport size photograph
- Valid passport
- USD 20 in cash

Procedure: Hand over the passport, application, and fee to the visa counter upon arrival.

Validity of Visa: The visa is valid for four weeks of travel and is single entry only. The visa stamp requires one full page.

General Information: No prior registration or approval from authorities necessary
 

Visa from the Cambodian Embassy

Place of Arrival: All valid entry points

Processing Time: 1 day for visa stamp at embassy (excluding postal delivery time)

Requirements:
- Visa application form
- 1 passport size photograph
- A passport valid for at least three months
- A photocopy of the passport
- Bank cheque or cash for visa fee
- Self-addressed and stamped envelope

Visa Fee: Please contact embassy for current visa fees

Procedure: All above-mentioned documents must be sent to the nearest Cambodian Embassy for the visa stamp.

Validity of Visa: The visa is valid for four weeks of travel and is single entry only. The visa stamp requires one full page.

NEW Online Visa: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has launched e-Visa, which enables you to apply for a Cambodia tourist visa online. Instead of applying through Cambodian Embassy, all you need to do is to complete the online application form and pay with your credit card. After receiving your Visa through email, print it out and bring it along when you travel to Cambodia. For more details, you can visit http://evisa.mfaic.gov.kh
