With over 3000 miles of coastline, Vietnam is justifiably famous for
its beaches. Among the favorite destinations are:
Danang/Hoi An. These beaches benefit from their proximity
to one of Vietnam's major cultural attractions, the UNESCO World Heritage
Site of Hoi An. Within striking distance of this charmingly preserved
merchant village are several 4 and 5 star beach resorts.
Nha Trang. One of Vietnam's most popular beach destinations,
Nha Trang offers luxurious, bungalow-style resort accommodation along
its sandy beaches and clear waters.
Phan Thiet/Mui Ne. Famous for its unique round boats,
this lovely beach resort attracts visitors from all around the world.
Nearby Mui Ne is famous for its spectacular orange sand dunes.
Phu Quoc. Still largely untouristed, this island is most
famous for producing Vietnam's best muoc nam, or fish sauce. Its remote
location has kept the island relatively undeveloped, making it a haven
for nature-lovers.
Qui Nhon. Located on a tiny peninsula jutting out towards
the sea, this peaceful beach resort is attracting tasteful development
by upscale resorts.

and Danang. Both destinations boast PADI- qualified diving facilities
and instructors as well as some of the best waters in the region. Diving
excursions can also be arranged as a separate excursion within a customized
itinerary.

With cliffs and hidden caverns, the mysteries of Halong Bay are best
explored by boat. We recommend traditional Chinese junks, which may be
booked for half-day excursions or longer cruises. These atmospheric vessels
evoke the pace of a past era and feature wooden interiors, private cabins,
a dining room and an outdoor seating area.
For more active travellers, we can arrange kayaking tours of specific
islands, either as an excursion on a cruise aboard a junk, or as an extended
kayaking itinerary.

region. The train conditions are of local standard, better suited to more
