Tehran
City tour in Tehran with National Museum, Carpet Museum and Reza Abassi
Museum - if time permits, visit Jewel Museum.
Day 03
Tehran- Masuleh - Bandar Anzali
Drive from Tehran via Qazvin to picturesque village of Masouleh at the
slopes of Elburz mountains on the side of Caspian Sea. Continue to port
of Bandare Anzali. O/N in Bandar Anzali
Day 04
Bandar Anzali - Ardabil
Visit fishmarket in Bandar Anzali. Drive via Asalem through impressing
mountain scenery via Khalkhal to Ardebil. Visit Sheikh Safi Sanctuary.

Day 05
Ardabil - Tabriz
Drive Northern route around Sabalan-mountain via Meshkinshahr, Khajeh
with many-coloured hills to Tabriz. Visit Bazar, Blue Mosque and elGoli
Park. O/N Tabriz (2 nights)
Day 06
Qareh Kelisa- Tabriz
Drive to solitary Qareh Kelisa church of Armenian Christians. During return
to Tabriz visit ruins of Urartian fortress of Bastam near Ziaod-Din.
Day 07
Tabriz - Maragheh
Drive to mountain village of Kandavan which is built into the rocks of
Kuhe Sahand. Continue to Maragheh. Visit observatory of 13. century and
tomb towers from Seljuq and Mongol times. O/N Maragheh
Day 08
Maragheh - Hamadan
Drive to Takhte Soleiman firetemple with Zendane Soleiman crater. Continue
via Takab, Bijar to Hamadan (2 nights)
Day 09
Hamadan
Visits in Hamadan: Alavian Dome, Esther & Mordekhai Mausoleum, Tomb
of Avicenna. If time permits, make excursion to Ali Sadre cave. Return
to Hamadan and see beautiful valley of Ganjnameh with Achaemenid inscriptions.
In the evening have view from Abbasabad hill down on the city.
Day 10
Hamadan - Kangavar - Bistun - Kermanshah
Drive to Kermanshah, en route visit Anahita Temple at Kangavar. continue
to Bisotun, see Darius relief and Hercules relief. In Kermanshah visit
Bazaar. O/N Kermanshah
Day 11
Kermanshah - TehranMake excursion to Taq-e Bostan with Sasanid reliefs and grottoes. Take
early afternoon flight to Tehran. Afternoon free at your disposal. O/N

Day 12
Tehran- Shiraz
City tour in Tehran visit Glas & Ceramics Museum, Grand Bazaar, Museum
of Natural History. Late afternoon flight to Shiraz. O/N Shiraz (3 nights)
Day 13
Shiraz - Firuzabad - Shiraz
See Naranjestan Garden. Make excursion to Firuzabad. Visit Gur round city
and Sasanid Palace. Return to Shiraz and see Shah Cheragh Mausoleum in
the evening (from the outside).
Day 14
Shiraz - Persepolis - Shiraz
Excursion to Persepolis & Naghsh-e Rostam. Return to Shiraz, visit
Tomb of Hafez and Ali ebne Hamzeh mosque with mirror tiles interior.
Day 15
Shiraz - Isfahan
Drive to Isfahan. En route visit Pasargade with Cyrus tomb and see caravanserai
at Izadkhast. O/N Isfahan (3 nights)
Day 16
Isfahan
Visit Imam Square with Imam Mosque, Sheikh Lotfullah mosque and AliQapu
Palace. Stroll in Bazaar and have free time at your disposal.
Day 17
Isfahan
Visit Vank Cathedral, Jame Mosque, Mosque with Shaking Minarets and beautiful
old bridges.
Day 18
Isfahan - Natanz - Abyaneh - Tehran
Drive to Natanz and visit old Jame Mosque, continue to beautiful mountain
village of Abyaneh. Arrive at Tehran. O/N Tehran (2 nights)
Day 19
Tehran- Rey - Varamin - Tehran
Drive to Rey, visit Togrul Beg Tomb tower and Cheshmeh Ali spring. Continue
to Varamin and see old Jame Mosque. During return to Tehranstop at Tepe
Mil with remainders of Sasanid building. In the evening have farewell
dinner at traditional restaurant.
Day 20
Tehran- Departure
Transfer to airport for return flight.
