Day 02, Tehran - Soltaniyeh - Takab:
Drive via Qazvin to Soltaniyeh, visit Mausoleum of Oljeytu which is said
to be model for central building of TajMahal. Continue via Zanjan, Bijar
to Takab. Hotel Ranji
Day 03, T.Soleiman - Maragheh:
Drive to Takht-e Soleiman firetemple. Also visit Zendan-e Soleiman crater
hill. Continue to Maragheh. See four tombtowers from Seljuq and Mongol

Day 04, Maragheh - Kandovan - Tabriz:
Drive to Tabriz. En route visit Kandovan. In Tabriz short city tour with
stroll in Bazaar. Gostaresh Hotel (2 nights)
Day 05, Qareh Kelisa - Tabriz:
Excursion to Armenian Church of Qareh Kelisa, visit Bastam Urartian site
(which was excavated by German archaeologists) en route back to Tabriz.
Day 06, Tabriz - Ardebil:
In Tabriz visit Blue Mosque, stop at Ark (=former Alishah Mosque). Drive
via Khadjeh with coloured mauntains and Meshkinshahr to Ardebil. Darya

Day 07, Ardebil - Bandar-e Anzali:
Visit Sheikh Safi Mausoleum. Continue to Bandar-e Anzali via picturesque
Assalem road. Boat ride on Mordab lagoon. Have evening dinner at Armenian

Day 08, Bandar-e Anzali - Masouleh - Qazvin:
Visit fish market in Bandar-e Anzali. Drive to mountain village of Masouleh.
Continue to Qazvin. See Emamzadeh Hossein. Marmar Hotel
Day 09, Qazvin - Alamut - Tehran:
Drive into picturesque Alamut valley and visit fortress of Hasan Sabah.
In the middle ages this place was famous as site of the assassins. Short
picknick at Iwan lake. Continue to Tehran. Have farewell dinner at traditional

Day 10, Tehran - Departure:
TTransfer to the airport for departure flight.
